Art by Bella Peterson

About Me
Hi, I’m Bella Peterson. I’m a landscape artist working primarily in oil paint and charcoal, drawn to the calm presence found in nature. My work leans into soft light, open horizons, and gentle shifts in tone to create pieces that feel both timeless and personal.
In addition to creating my own work, I’ve taught art classes for students of all ages, from elementary children to adults. I love helping others grow in confidence and creativity, and teaching has deepened my appreciation for the way art connects us across generations and experiences.
I’ve been happily married for five years and am a proud military spouse currently living in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Much of my inspiration comes from time spent outdoors, hiking, camping, and exploring new landscapes with my husband and our two dogs. My hope is that each piece I create does more than depict a place. I want it to preserve a memory and evoke the feeling of standing there, fully present.
